Edgewood Elementary School is a community of character that fosters the social and emotional well-being and academic success of all its members through the practices of Respectful actions, Open-hearted minds, Achieving goals, Responsible behaviors, and Safe choices.
Edgewood Elementary School serves 563 students in grades K-5 across both general and special education settings. The school is located in an affluent suburban setting of Yardley, PA with a unique demographic. Edgewood is home to many of our district-wide Autistic Support and Emotional Support classrooms. Additionally, we have the most identified Gifted Learners amongst the Pennsbury Elementary Schools. The complexity of learner needs has impacted our school-wide approach to teaching and learning about the values and importance of inclusive practices and highly effective differentiation of instruction.
